Write it down on paper and make sure it's something that you are emotionally attached to. Your reason why will propel you to take massive action and help you push through the tough times when starting, building and scaling your online business.

I grew up on a rough council estate in the UK when I was younger with my mum and my brother where money was tight! I’ve grafted for everything I’ve done in my life! I didn’t manage to become a professional soccer player and a profitable online business owner by luck and I certainly didn’t have it handed to me on a plate!

I failed countless times but I kept going until I found what works! I had to work hard smartly and the reason I’ve achieved some of my goals in life is because I had a deep desire (A strong reason WHY) in place that empowers me to become better at my craft EVERY SINGLE DAY!

Every single day I try to become a better person than yesterday! Your reason why must be stronger than just to make money online, it must be a burning desire that truly means something to you.

Here are some examples :

- To be able to provide a better life for family

- To travel more

- To spend more time with your kids and watch them grow up.

4) Setting Goals & Why They Are Your GPS To Success

Your goals are the GPS to your online business success. If you don’t set goals you’re like a lost soul just wondering through life hoping for the best or a ship sailing the sea without a rudder!

You need to get very clear about the income goals you want to achieve. Set an exact yearly income goal and then break that goal down into smaller sizable chunks to work out how you much you need to earn per month, per week and per day and even break it down to work out how much your time is worth per hour.

This will enable you to work out a sales forecast and marketing spend. Setting a BIG yearly financial goal is only the halfway point though and this is where many people go wrong! Your end goal needs to be COMPLETE FINANCIAL AND TIME FREEDOM THROUGH PASSIVE CASH FLOW ASSETS

When setting goals you need complete clarity so your subconscious mind picks it up.

You'll also want to write out a GOAL CARD in first person tense and read it every morning and every night before you go to bed!

Now before we start talking about the different ways to generate leads and how to drive traffic to build your business we first need to understand the fundamentals of lead generation and a key concept that will transform your business...

The secret is to drive TARGETED TRAFFIC is positioning your offer as the solution to the problem they are having while allowing your audience to reach their goals faster, easier and more effectively.

Read that statement again! Until it’s ingrained into your brain!

Its a million dollar conversion secret!

- Teach people WHAT to do!

- Demonstrate the BENEFITS!

- Tell them WHY they need to solve the problem now!

- Teach them exactly HOW to do it inside of your paid product so they can get the RESULT they desire!

The Three Types Of Traffic

1) Traffic You Control

This is traffic you send to your lead capture page using the methods below.

2) Traffic You Don Control

This is traffic coming to your blog, social media posts, forums etc! You have no control over this kind of traffic so it’s important to try and always direct them to your lead capture page to join your list by giving away an insane value based LEAD MAGNET! (This very book your reading is a lead magnet that i give away for free to build my list or charge $7 for as a tripwire offer!)

3) Traffic You Own – The BEST Traffic

Traffic that you own is the traffic on your email list, you control this traffic and you’re able to send it to any web address you like!

Traffic Fundamentals For List Building

Traffic is the most important aspect to build a list!

You need to learn the techniques to drive traffic every single day. First of all I’m going to explain some TRAFFIC FUNDAMENTALS and then I’m going to talk about the 4 main types of traffic I use to attract leads to join my list.

Now a lot of people say they have a traffic problem but I can assure you that’s not true. There is tonnes of traffic available, Facebook for example has 2 billion users, YouTube has over a billion views per day! You just have to learn the correct techniques to drive that traffic and then convert that traffic into customers.

ECONOMICS + TRAFFIC + CONVERSIONS = SALES!

You may have a measurement problem or an offer problem but definitely not a traffic problem, traffic is everywhere, you’ve just got to be proactive!

Sometimes it’s like digging for gold and eventually you find a gold mine! You must understand people nowadays congregate online in relation to their interests. So when you have found where your target market is congregating put your ad in front of them to drive traffic back to your lead capture page to build your list!

Now traffic is put under two categories, PAID TRAFFIC and FREE TRAFFIC but that’s not necessarily true because in essence...

TIME = MONEY

so the free methods aren't really free because they take time to gain traction. And your time has a monetary value attached to it that is intangible!

For example you could spend 1 hour at the beach looking for crabs LOL vs spending that same 1 hour of time closing a deal for $100,000!

Ultimately how you INVEST your hours of time over a longer time horizon (years) primarily determines how wealthy you will become! This is the difference between a broke person and a billionaire. Make sense?

To get leads and sales you’re either going to have to invest time or money to start off with! Both methods can be very profitable if done strategically.

Targeted Vs Non Targeted Traffic

When I first started driving traffic I quickly realised not all traffic is the equal, there is good traffic and bad traffic out there and you will have to do your research and test to find the good sources.

You need to target the right people because you don’t want to be marketing to everyone and anyone, it’s tiring and frustrating and I’m talking from experience.

When I first started online I was marketing to anyone, I had no strategy, I soon found out the hard way by not making any money using affiliate marketing for a whole year!

The most targeted traffic is people who are thinking about the problems your product solves and they are the ones who are most likely to buy. You will need to find out your customer avatar struggles and pain points and then start thinking what result your potential customer wants and desires.

Then start thinking about where your core customer may hangout online and target them. The more targeted you become in relation to something called the buying spectrum which i teach in more detail inside my C.A.A coaching program the more money you will make in a faster time period.

On the other hand if you’re not getting leads to build your list and sales it could be because you’re not targeting enough.

Non targeted are people who are not thinking about the problems and struggles your products solves and these people are harder to convert into buyers, a lot of people when first starting a business don’t target and then wonder why they aren’t seeing sales.

If you’re not seeing sales, start targeting more! If you don’t have leads coming into your business and subscribing to your email list on a consistent daily basis, you don’t have a business...you have a time consuming hobby that's probably costing you more than your are making so your priority should be to learn to drive traffic through the methods I'm about to share with you.

You need to MASTER 1 traffic method before moving onto the next one.

Learn to drive quality targeted traffic to a high converting offer and mix E.B.M (Educational Based Marketing) by directing them to your content and social media channels and you won’t have a problem making money online providing you follow up with them by email.

People are willing to swap money for products & services that will effect there life in a positive way!

FREE Facebook & LinkedIn Marketing Leveraging My D.A.O Method

D.A.O = Direct Authority Outreach Method!

This is where you'll target your warm market to start with to generate leads and sales via the messenger app.

Start with people that already know, like and trust you! This is a great place to start because marketing to people who already know you can be a really good source of free traffic.

Unfortunately you can’t build a sustainable business using just this method alone because it will eventually dry up! So then you'll need to add 40+ people per day from targeted groups in relation to your niche / offer.

I personally used this method when I opened up my previous coaching program and in the the first 30 days made $33,698 CASH COLLECTED and $102,681 in rapid time via payment plans!

Most of the free traffic strategies take 18 months to gain any decent traction so to start with you'll want to apply my D.A.O Method with free Facebook or LinkedIn marketing as that will massively fast track your success while adding 1 paid traffic strategy which I will be explaining about in more detail later on in this book.

Build A Blog To Generate Leads

Blogging is a great way to get free traffic by writing blog articles that target keywords to get them ranked in the major search engines (Google, Yahoo and Bing, YouTube) but it takes A LOT of time to gain traction.

My blog generates leads but it's used more for E.B.M (Educational Based Marketing) to advance the sale and improve conversions with my paid traffic.

Blogging can be a great source of traffic if you're willing to put in the work consistently because these people are searching for the solution you’re providing.

It’s easy to set up and the ultimate relationship builder plus it’s your home on the internet, 100% controlled by YOU! ☺ My advice to you would be to set up a blog plus master one form of paid traffic and blog at the same time to build a relationship with your subscribers. This will enable you to get free leads on autopilot.

Every time you write a post it’s out there working for you and helping you generate leads 24/7 add video marketing to the mix and you'll be well on your way to a 6 / 7 figure income providing your are promoting high ticket offers!

If you haven’t got much available funds for paid traffic then blogging could be a great option for you! If you’re consistent with your output the snow ball effect takes place

How To Set Up Your Blog

To get your blog up and running you’re going to need hosting, I use Bluehost www.BlueHost.com to host my site plus you get a free domain name with them when you sign up! After you’ve chosen your domain name and you have your hosting in place you’re going to want to go to www.wordpress.com to install the software on your web host!

Once you’ve chosen the design and you’re happy it’s then time to let the google bot know your site is live so it can track it every time you write an article so the posts and pages get ranked in the search engines!

A question I get asked a lot is how long should the article be? Some people tend to post 200 or 300 word articles – just tips and bits of information… but they post regularly. Others post full-length “average” size articles around 400 to 600 words. And others post long articles (even as long as 1000 – 2000 words or so).

Experiment a little to find out what works for you and your niche. Chances are, you’ll find that posting a mix of articles will serve you well while interweaving interesting and entertaining stories, education and value about the major big problems your target market is facing.

The major search engines like longer, more detailed articles that provide good quality content and I always like to add in a video which improves visitor retention and helps build the bond with you as an attractive character. ☺ Now were going to look at some of the awesome ways you can benefit by posting articles on your blog…

1) Search engine traffic - Keyword-optimized articles placed on your blogs can attract search engine traffic and if they like the value they received they will opt in to your list.

2) Visitor Retention - A regularly updated blog makes your site attractive to previous visitors. That means visitors tend to return again and again to see what’s new on your site and opt in to your list!

3) Backlinks - If you run a good blog with quality content and thoughtful posts, you’ll find other bloggers giving you backlinks. Backlinks are just links pointing back to your site! Experiment a little to find out what sorts of posts get you the most buzz and social interaction!

Another really good way to get people talking is to make controversial posts from time to time. Other bloggers will take sides and a debate will form. You can also apply this method with you Facebook posts. Whether they take your side of the issue or not, they’ll link to your blog to discuss your post. Backlinks are also very important to get high ranking in the search engines! The more quality backlinks your site has the better chance you have ranking on the first page of google!

FREE Mass YouTube Video Marketing

Another awesome way to get free leads is to create quality video content using YouTube Video marketing. This is a very powerful way to market because people can actually see you’re a real person plus it’s much easier to rank a video in the google search engine than it is a blog post!

With free YouTube marketing you can get lots of targeted leads on to your email list by targeting keywords! To do your keyword research you will need to go to the google keyword planner tool! I cover a lot of the information in the paid YouTube marketing section which can be related and applied to the free method! You can find information on the YouTube Paid section later on in this book!

YouTube video marketing is great for creating valuable content, leveraging educational based marketing which advances the sale.

Solo Ads

This is where you rent a list from someone who has lots of targeted leads and subscribers within your niche. You research and then contact a solo ad vendor. Then write solo ad email message otherwise know as the subject line and body copy.

Then the solo ad vendor will send your message out with your affiliate links in, usually you would send them to an opt in page to capture the lead before presenting them with an offer so toy can build your list.

A percentage of the leads will opt in and then go onto your list where you can build a relationship with the via educational based marketing, interesting stories while interweaving strong call to actions to go and buy your products and services.

Banner Ads

This is where we rent space on a popular blog or website that’s getting lots of traffic in relation to your niche. People click your banner and then get taken to your lead capture page and onto your email list and then you'll send them to an offer to buy now.

PPC (Pay Per Click) –Google, Yahoo, Bing

This is where we target keywords in relation to our products & services and marketplace problems and solutions. This is one of the best forms of traffic because it’s targeted and people are searching for your offer (Pull Marketing) instead of you pushing the offer at them like Facebook or banner advertising (Push Marketing)

Facebook Ads PPC

Facebook paid Ads are one of the most targeted forms of traffic because we can really narrow things down with the demographic data Facebook provides. The only downside to Facebook advertising is Facebook is strict so you must read through the terms and conditions. However when me and one of my business partners scaled to $1.2M in combined sales, Facebook ads and solo ads were the main traffic source we were using to grow fast when I was doing high ticket affiliate marketing!

Direct Mail

This is an offline traffic method usually applied to improve backend sales, however you can use it on the front end of your business model if you have enough of a traffic budget. This where you'll leverage the national postal services and distribute leaflets and letters promoting your business. It’s more advisable to leverage this form of traffic when you have a bigger advertisement budget.

YouTube PPC Video Ads

Video ads are a great way to build your list! I use both paid and free YouTube video marketing because it’s a fantastic way to get highly targeted leads and it’s also great for building a relationship with your leads fast!

YouTube Is A Sleeping Giant

Google AdWords was the first before the google slap, then Facebook ads... and now YouTube video marketing is the next big thing so jump on board and get a piece of the pie now! With video it’s very easy for people to see if you’re a real genuine person who is looking to help them! You can’t hide in a video.

If you’re not using it in your marketing I highly suggest you start because it’s one of, if not my favourite ways to market online!

I’m not one of those marketers that hides behind their computer screens! I like to interact with people to help them achieve their desired goal and video marketing has enabled me to do that!

My business is built around the principle of adding value and helping others and if you want to build a thriving business you should do the same! Money is just a bi product of helping others and is largely determined by how much value you put into the market place. And with YouTube video marketing ads you can really show people the real you! So it’s a brilliant traffic source in my opinion!

How Can You Leverage YouTube Video Ads?

First if all you need some sort of video recording device! The latest iPhone has a high quality camera of so if you have one use that. If you’re a bit shy and you don’t really want to do video, my advice to you would be push through your fear and just do it! Practice makes perfect.

Your business and your lead generation will grow a lot faster with video marketing and it’s a great way to let your leads see the real version of you!

You will get better the more you practice! I screw my words up all the time but I have a lot of fun doing video and I just pushed through the fear barrier and did it! ! The more you do video the more confident you will become!

If you’re an introvert and you really don’t want to get in front of the camera you can always outsource and get someone else to shoot the video for you in relation to the keywords you’re targeting and the leads you’re going after on a site called www.fiver.com Pay someone $5 and they will make a video for you! When you have your video camera set up then it’s time to shoot your video and upload it to YouTube!

Then you’re going to want to sign up for a google AdWords account. If you didn’t already know, Google now owns YouTube so that’s why you see a lot of videos ranking in the google search engine when typing in keywords! When you have got your google account you’re going to want to sign in to your YouTube account and go through the YouTube promoted set up!

Once that’s sorted you'll set a daily budget for your video ad campaign. After you’ve set your daily budget it’s time to start targeting keywords so your video shows up when someone types the keyword phrase into the YouTube search engine.

Start targeting keywords in relation to your lead magnet and lead capture page! To do your keyword research you can use googles keyword tool www.googlekeywordtool.com/ Start looking at which keywords you want to target with a decent amount of traffic but keep a close eye on the CPC (Cost Per Click) on each keyword!

The more competition for that keyword the more it’s going to cost! The keywords must be congruent to the video and the lead capture page otherwise people won’t opt in to your list and conversions will be lower! At the end of the day it’s all about TARGETING people who are already interested in what you have to offer!

YouTube and other search engine traffic is great because people are actually searching for the solution your providing compared to other forms of traffic strategies like Facebook ads and banner ads which is a form of interruption marketing! People on Facebook aren’t necessarily on there to join your list and purchase whereas on the search engines people are looking for a solution to their problems.

Here’s An Overview Of How YouTube PPC Works!

1) Shoot and Upload a video using the A.V.C video script i teach inside my coaching program.

2) Go through YouTube prompted set up

3) Set daily budget

4) Select Keywords

5) Create an ad along with the video

6) Wait for Google to approve your ad

7) Wait for Traffic and Leads to join your LIST!

Awesome... so far we have covered mindset mastery and the traffic and lead generation training.

Now were going to talk about the conversion side of the business by selling high ticket offers because as you already know...

TRAFFIC + CONVERSION = SALES!

You can get all the highest converting traffic in the world but if you don't have a high converting offer and understand conversion you will make $0.

If you don't know what a high ticket offer is let me explain...

High ticket is any product, service or program that pays you $2,000 - $10,000+ per sale!

This means you need a lot less customers each month to have a 5 or even 6 figure month. For example: If you were selling an offer for $2,000 per sale, you only need 5 customers per month to hit $10,000 per month which is easily possible with what I teach inside my coaching program.

2 of my students recently hit $100k in profits in rapid time by following what I teach and ive worked with 7-Figure business onwers to help them sclae up!

If you have not made your first $10,000 in a single month yet, FOCUS on 1/2 high ticket offers, 1 sales funnel, 1 free traffic method (preferably free FB or LinkedIn marketing leveraging my D.A.O method) and 1 paid traffic method so you can scale up.

Now you may be thinking people wont buy an offer for $2k, $5k or even $10k per sale but I can tell you from my experience that this is not true, especially in the business education and home business industry.

If you understand how to target your traffic there are plenty of people out there that are willing to invest this much and a lot more into a business and the correct education that will help them scale their revenue to 6, 7 and even 8 figures!

I have personally sold many high ticket items ranging from $2k, $5k and even $10k+ and one of my mentors has a coaching program that ranges from $40,000 - $100,000 and he has 140 people inside.

Do the math on that! Promoting high ticket will allow you to scale to a 7-Figure much more rapidly than promoting products for $10 - $100 like the 97% of people that are failing online.

Now as you advance IF your want to scale past $1M to $10M and even $100M then you'll need to build an I.P.S which stands for Integrated Product Suite. Here’s an example of one of my lead capture pages for my Internet Millionaire Formula Book!

As you will notice it has a big bold headline using the colour red that leverages a big benefit / desire.

I am leveraging a million dollar 7-step case study our affiliate team applied which creates curiosity and hooks the potential lead in so they continue to read the copy on the page.

The word FREE is one of the strongest copywriting words available.

And I have a strong call to action using a button in the colour green.

2) Lead Magnet -

FREE gift that you give away on your lead capture page in return for their email address!

3) Tripwire Sales Page -

This is a one page website that introduces you, the attractive character! If you are using a tripwire offer to recoup some of the money you spend on ads via your tripwire sales page when you are selling a front end product usually priced between $7 - $49

4) Sales Page –

One page website that sells your front end product usually price between $49 - $197 using copywriting strategies and / or a VSL (video sales letter).

5) Email Follow Up –

7 - 30+ high converting emails that engage, influence, persuade and sell your products. These are written in one go and automatically get sent out to your prospects using an email autoresponder software.

6) Webinar –

This is a live or automated online web class where your prospect engage with the attractive character (aka: YOU) you teach them something specific they would like to learn and then transition into a sale at the end. Webinars are great for making high ticket sales.

7) Phone Follow Up –

Throughout these emails I am teaching people how to build a profitable business online! These emails were all sent out automatically!

I wrote them all in one go with another professional copywriter on my team, loaded them up in my autoresponder and the software sends them out on a daily basis without me having to physically be at my laptop!

The reason you want to start sending daily emails is :

1) You want to start building that strong relationship with your subscribers built on trust.

2) Once the relationship phase has been built you can then start promoting products and services that will solve your subscribers problems and make you money!

That’s the beauty of email marketing, the more people you have on your list that know, like and trust you the more money you will make!

On average every person on your list is worth $1 per month! So for example if you had a list of 10,000 people you would realistically make $10,000 per month income, 50,000 people, $50,000 per month, you get the drift?

On my list because my traffic is super targeted each email subscriber can be worth up $5-10 per month! This is the powr of what i teach inside C.A.A!

How To Format Your Follow Up Series

I personally use something called the Soap Opera Sequence that I learnt from one of my mentors, Russel Brunson! This is where I create 5-7 emails that each loop into each other creating curiosity for the next day’s email!

Think of your favourite TV show, at the end of each episode they always leave a missing piece that entices you to watch the next episode! It leaves you waiting and wanting more! You need to do the same with your emails and your open rates will sky rocket!

I like to start off with a welcome email that sets the stage! In this email I’m just explaining what to expect from me in the coming days and making sure they have received their free gift, while at the same time sharing value from the word go!

You want to make sure they have received their free gift otherwise they won’t be on your list for very long. In email 2 & 3 I am plugging them into my front-end tripwire offer. Then I start the soap opera sequence by start telling my story and I’m sharing value again to help people!

This builds the relationship and the trust! In each email from then on I’m looping to keep them hooked so they open my emails! In the online marketing space the average email open rate is below 10%!

However as you can see from screenshot above some of my emails are getting open rates of 66%!

I send out 5-7 emails using the Soap Opera Sequence that warms them up to me as a person, introduces and positions my brand and pre sells them for when I start to sell my offers!

After they have been through my SOS and they have got to know like and trust me, I introduce what I have to offer and they go into my “hard sell” promotion phase where im selling quite aggressively for a few days!

After that my leads go into separate broadcast list.

In this list I email them every day, sometimes every 2 days about what I’m up to in my life. I tell little parable stories to keep people engaged and then I link it back to a product or service I’m selling!

If you want... you can have a much longer follow up series and you can always add emails as time goes on to make things more automated but the content in the emails must be ever green. Some of my email follow email sequences have got over 60 emails going out automatically.

Your autoresponder series should be used to help your subscribers bond with you as an attractive character and help solve their biggest obstacles via snippets of interesting, entertaining and educational pieces of content! This is why offering value and using a method called attraction marketing is so important! You must also believe in your products 100%!

I feel I’m doing a dis-service if I don’t sell to my list after they have been through my SOS sequence because I know my products and services can change people’s lives by helping them build the business of their dreams that will give them more time, location and financial freedom!

You need to be the purple elephant in the room by differentiating yourself via a U.S.P (Unique Selling Proposition) & a U.M (Unique Mechanism)
